PROJECT GOALS
Shape Properties is a property developer committed to creating innovative shopping environments. Their aim is to “make places that matter.” The organization needed a site that would focus on winning prospective tenants, by demonstrating their vision for well-orchestrated spaces.

OUR APPROACH
Domain7 partnered with Free Agency Creative for this project. From extensive interviews and research, we developed a bold strategy: Flow, Simplicity and Focus. This is what Shape Properties brings to the retail properties they craft, and the same principles needed to be applied to the web experience:

  1. Flow: Mirroring the window-shopping experience, the site leads users from enticing eye candy to specific decision-making details.
  2. Simplicity: So many sites bloat into corporate overload, so we helped Shape simplify to just three bold navigation choices.
  3. Focus: Only one outcome is needed from this site—luring top-notch tenants into the space. The site’s content and layout are tailored to this audience.

RESULTS
Domain7’s strategy kept the project relentlessly focused on Shape’s goals, from design to implementation. Free Agency Creative helped Shape translate their brand for the web: choosing bold typographic treatments and evocative photography. With both team’s efforts based in sound strategy, the final product is poised to help Shape achieve their ambitious vision for making places that matter.
