PROJECT GOALS
Working with Vancouver’s own Industrial Brand, Domain7 developed a web solution for GEC Architecture. As an architecture firm, showcasing the beauty and sophistication of their work is the most important goal of their website. What’s the ideal way to do this? Photographs.
OUR APPROACH
Using GEC’s wealth of existing photographs, the layout went big: the photos flood the screen, filling the entire window with rich, beautiful images of the structures that have been built by the client. To go along with the images are simple, graceful menus that bow out of sight and hide from view when you don’t need them. The portfolio section also behaves in the same way–and best of all, it’s done entirely without Flash.
RESULTS
The reaction to gecarchitecture.com has been very positive. Ken Cartier, partner at GEC says, “We are very proud of the new web site and believe it speaks to who we are. Thanks again to your team.”
